Victron AGM Super Cycle Battery – A Truly Innovative Battery

The Victron Energy AGM Super Cycle Battery represent a breakthrough in battery electrochemistry. These advancements enhance performance, durability, and overall reliability.

The positive plate paste is now more resistant to softening, even after repeated 100% discharges. Additionally, new electrolyte additives help reduce sulfation, further improving deep discharge resilience.

Exceptional 100% Depth of Discharge (DoD) Performance

Tests by Victron Energy confirm that the Victron Super Cycle Battery can endure at least 300 cycles at 100% DoD. This ensures reliable performance in demanding applications.

Each test cycle involves a full discharge to 10.8V at I = 0.2C20, followed by a two-hour rest in a discharged state. Afterward, the battery is recharged with I = 0.2C20.

For most Other makes of Batteries, the two-hour rest in a discharged condition would cause damage within 100 cycles. However, the Victron Super Cycle Battery withstands this stress, maintaining its integrity and longevity.

Victron recommend using the Super Cycle Battery in applications where occasional 100% DoD or frequent 60-80% DoD discharges occur. Its enhanced chemistry ensures it remains reliable under these conditions.
